All The Feels!

All The Feels!

Whether you’re a minimalist or a maximalist, the one thing that really makes a space is texture!

I love the minimal look when filled with ‘Raw ‘ materials; a space can look so full when lots of different natural looking raw materials are introduced within. The array of different materials can essentially replace the use of decorative objects/furnishings.

Bringing lots of different materials and textures into an overall ‘minimal’ styled space can be so pleasing and interesting to the eye – giving off that ‘I want to run my hand over every surface’ feel.

If you’re more at the maximalist end of the spectrum, textures are just as important! You can create more impact and intrigue by layering different textures and finishes.

Mix up as many textures as you wish, metallic’s with mattes, glossy, fluffy, rough… the list can go on. These can be placed in the space in the form of cushions, rugs, throws, artwork, ceramics, lighting… again the list can go on!

Layer, to create those exciting, cosy, comfy pockets all around the space.

Sit back, relax and enjoy textured eye-candy!
